Overview

PhonetiKit 正音 is designed with your privacy as a core principle. The app helps you manage phonetic names for your contacts — and it does so entirely on your device.

Contacts Access

PhonetiKit requests access to your Contacts in order to read and update phonetic name fields. This access is:

• Local only — contact data is read and written directly on your device
• Never transmitted — no contact information is sent to any server
• User-controlled — you can revoke access at any time in System Settings

Data Collection

PhonetiKit collects no data whatsoever. Specifically:

• No personal information is collected
• No usage analytics or telemetry
• No tracking or advertising identifiers
• No third-party SDKs or services
• No network requests are made by the app

Data Storage

All data processed by PhonetiKit resides in your device's local Contacts database, managed by the operating system. PhonetiKit does not maintain a separate database or store copies of your contacts.

Children's Privacy

PhonetiKit does not collect any data from anyone, including children under 13. The app is safe for users of all ages.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be posted on this page with a revised date. Since the app collects no data, changes are expected to be minimal.
